Lester Holt has had a lot on his plate the last three weeks, since taking over for Brian Williams.

But the newly-minted full-time Nightly News anchor has been winning. And winning big.

Holt has guided the nightly news program to No. 1 among its competition in total viewers, according to CNN Money.

Holt is also No. 1 in the critical demographics for advertisers – audience members ranging from ages 25-54. The CNN Money reports breaks down the numbers:

Ratings for the week of July 6 came in on Tuesday, and they affirmed the three-week-long streak. “NBC Nightly News” was ahead of ABC’s “World News Tonight” last week by 639,000 total viewers, 178,000 of whom were ages 25 to 54.

Nightly News had been lagging behind ABC’s World News Tonight with host David Muir, which claimed multiple No. 1 ratings wins even before the controversy surrounding Williams began.

NBC announced last month that Williams will return to the network as a breaking news and special report anchor for MSNBC.

Holt recently landed an extended interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
