TV reporter Cameron Polom was covering the disappearance of 10-year-old Paul Ezekeil Fagan when he suddenly spotted a young boy by a fence.

Just like that the missing boy had been found.

Polom described his incredible discovery to his station WFTS-TV in Tampa, Florida:

I said, ‘Have you been missing?’ I said, ‘Come here, buddy, and I just picked him up and I said ‘would you mind if I lift you up?’ And I just said come with me, I just held his hand and walked him over to you guys. It’s crazy.

Fagan was quickly reunited with his grandmother, who has  custody, and other family members. The ‘reunion’ was all captured on camera.

The boy, who attends Kimball Elementary School, was reported missing last Thursday afternoon. Polom found him the next morning in his neighborhood.

Fagan told Polom he “ran away” because he “needed space from his younger brother.”
