CHICAGO (AP) — Prosecutors at the trial of the man accused of murdering members of Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson’s family are focusing on the youngest victim, the singer’s 7-year-old nephew.
They’re continuing Wednesday with testimony about Julian King’s abduction and slaying.
Hudson’s former brother-in-law, William Balfour, is accused of killing her mother and brother at their Chicago home, then driving off with Julian in an SUV. He allegedly shot him in the head there.
Hudson left the courtroom Tuesday before photographs of the bloodied bodies of her mother and brother were displayed for the jury.
