ASAP Rocky was chosen to portray John F. Kennedy in Lana Del Rey’s upcoming music video for the single “National Anthem.” Lana, herself, will co-star alongside ASAP as first lady Jackie Kennedy. Complex magazine has the story:
New Yorkers A$AP Rocky and Lana Del Rey are set to play former president John F. Kennedy and his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie O” Kennedy, in the “Video Games” singer’s latest video, “National Anthem,” taken from her Interscope debut, Born To Die.
“I play JFK, she plays Jackie O. Some cool trippy s***, some real 2015 shit,” Rocky said of the not-so-shocking collaboration. “People are going to get it in three years, and that’s the whole purpose of it.”
This will not be the first time A$AP Rocky and Lana Del Rey cross paths with one another.
