Donald Trump: Obama is the most ignorant president in history
Wednesday morning, Donald Trump didn’t mince any words as he attacked President Obama, Hillary Clinton and the Democratic leadership in general at a news conference in Doral, Florida.
“It’s been 235 days since crooked Hillary Clinton has had a press conference,” he said to the press present at Trump National Doral.
When asked about the deaths of black men at the hands of police, Trump staunchly defended law enforcement.
“If the police do 100,000 great jobs and they have one either rogue policeman or a cop was poorly trained or did a bad job you see that incident on television for weeks…,” he said. “You don’t see the good work they do. You see one mistake they make out of 100,000; it’s on television night after night after night.
The real estate mogul also faced several questions about his alleged ties to Russia and his relationship with Vladimir Putin.“I never met Putin,” he admitted. “I don’t know who Putin is. He said one nice thing to me. He said I was a genius. I said. ‘Thank you very much.’”
One person Trump won’t be thanking any time soon is President Obama, who has very publicly criticized the GOP candidate’s ignorance and lack of diplomacy.
“I think President Obama has been the most ignorant president in our history. His views of the world, as he says, don’t jive, and the world is a mess,” Trump opined. “He will go down as one of the worst presidents in the history of our country, and I believe Hillary Clinton will be even worse.”
The speech was only one of several events Trump has held in South Florida in the past 24 hours, which insiders say clearly illustrates the importance of the swing state in the general election.
Clinton and her running mate, Sen. Tim Kaine, made an appearance at Florida International University on Saturday, with both candidates expected to repeatedly return to Florida before the Nov. 8 election.
