News media personality Glenn Beck joined Fox’s Megyn Kelly this week and reflected on his time at the network.

In doing so, Beck, who left the network in June 2011, shared some of the regrets he had on his behavior on-air.

“I remember it as an awful lot of fun and that I made an awful lot of mistakes, and I wish I could go back and be more uniting in my language,” Beck said. “I think I played a role, unfortunately, in helping tear the country apart.”

He added: “I didn’t realize how really fragile the people were. I thought we were kind of more in it together.”

Beck spent close to three years at Fox and left the network to launch his own news media site TheBlaze.com.
