Wendy Williams is joining forces with Star Jones to bring her novel Satan’s Sisters to life.  The self-proclaimed “Queen of All Media” will executive produce a made-for-TV film based on Satan’s Sisters that will air on VH1.

Jones’ fictional novel, Satan’s Sisters, which hit store shelves last year, tells the story of a long-running talk show, hosted by four women, in which alliances are forged, careers are made, and bridges are burned.

During a February interview on The Wendy Williams Show, Jones discussed her book-turned-film project saying, “VH1 bought Satan’s Sisters. I am going to get to executive produce with one of the greatest executive producers, Suzanne de Passe, as my partner.” She also said her long term plan is to turn the film into a scripted television series.  During the interview Jones named several leading ladies she would like to cast in the film including Diahann Carroll, Diana Ross, and Lynn Whitfield.

Williams has teamed up with de Passe to create television and motion pictures under the Wendy Williams Presents banner. Satan’s Sisters will be the first project for their joint production venture.

“de Passe Jones Entertainment has a proven track record of success as it pertains to television movies and mini-series,” Williams said in a release. “This partnership makes great sense to Wendy Williams Productions and our entry into the world of filmed entertainment. de Passe Jones Entertainment has a proven track record of success as it pertains to television movies and mini-series.”

No official word yet on who has been cast in the film or when fans can expect to see it on VH1.
